Privacy Policy

YOUR PRIVACY IS IMPORTANT TO US.

Our policy is to respect your privacy. The Urban Explorer has a few fundamental principles:

  • Be thoughtful about the personal information we ask you to give and collect about you.
  • Store personal information for only as long as we have a reason to keep it.
  • Aim for full transparency on how we gather, use, and share your personal information.

GATHERING OF PERSONALLY-IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

Visitors of TheUrbanExplorer.ca may choose to interact in ways that require personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information gathered depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who comment on our blog to provide a username and email address. For those who wish to receive updates via email, we collect their emails. In each case, The Urban Explorer collects such information only in so far as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction. The Urban Explorer does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
